Planetarium Shows Wiki

As many planetariums are moving towards Full Dome Video, it's becoming more and more difficult to find interesting educational planetarium shows for "conventional" theaters. This wiki is a place where planetarians and educators can list currently available, new and upcoming shows. Please list a summary of the show, length, what's included in the showkit, system requirements and cost. Please be as brief as possible.

Check out the new (and slowly growing) resource page for conventional planetarium production resources. Got something to contribute? Please add it.

Solar System Adventure
The purpose of this program is to provide the planetarium industry with an inexpensive, participatory Solar System presentation for use with middle-elementary age students (grades 3-5). The program allows students to become mission specialists while their spaceship takes them on an educational adventure past the sun, moon and planets of our Solar System.

The program has 115 slides and can be run with a minimum of two carousel-slide projectors. The audio track, produced with high quality digital sound is available on CD or cassette formats. The show package also contains a script, slide list, production notes, educational applications and a teacher evaluation form. Special effects are suggested and described but are not necessary to run the program. Show length is 32 minutes.
The soundtrack, mission cards, script, and slide images (and masks) may be purchased as a digital show kit for only $25 on two CDs (make your own slides if necessary). If you want the slides made for you, it's an extra $100, so $125 total. For non-members, add the 10% fee.
